Bikeweek 2010 - What's happening in Aberdeen
Bikeweek the UK's annual festival of cycling runs from 19th to 27th June 2010, Across the UK over 25,000 events will be taking place, you can learn more at the Bikeweek website
In Aberdeen ACF, it's partners and friends are running a number of events to mark bike week
- ACF [Corporate] Commuter Challenge (19-27 June)
Use your bike to commute to work or study and you could be in with a chance of winning £250 This year for the first time companies can join in, the corporate challenge) - Cycle at the Square - Saturday 19th June 11:00 - 15:00
Come on down to Union Square (by any means of transport!), see stunt cycling demonstrations by The Clan Competitions, Prizes and goodies available. ACF will be launching the 2010 Cycle Map Sponsored by Union Square. Drop by say hello and meet a few of the people who make ACF happen. - ACF at the Highland Games Sun 20th June10:00-18:00

A special showing of the "Follow Me" at the Belmont cinema - Aberdeen Airport Bike and Fly Thursday 24th June 07:00 - 11:00
Do you work or live near the airport, or perhaps you are just passing through, drop by the Bike and Fly event supported by Aberdeen Airport and Get-About, turn up on your bike and get a free hi-vis sirt or other goodies. A small cycle, open to all ages and abilities with a total distance of 14 Miles along the Old Deeside Line for the Aberdeen Duthie Park to Peterculter and back! All taking part will have the opportunity to collect donations for the charity of their choice.
