Give us your roads suggestions
Yes it's that time of year again, after all the fun-and-games over the CWSS Budgets (Cycling Walking Safer Streets budgets) within the council, the roads engineers are finally getting down to spending it.
It's not a huge sum of money - and given the current outlook of the public finances we have no idea where next years budgets are coming from - however as ever ACF welcomes your suggestions on where it might be spent.
So please use the form below to send us your suggestions, this "pot" is not designed for "major" projects such as bridges or new off road paths, but for simple improvemenets that can help in your everyday journeys e.g. a dropped kerb or a red lane through a central island. before submitting, some points to consider:
- Please try to be specific in your description, things like road names, junctions, side of the road all help, or cut and paste a link to a map.
- If you include your email address we can get back to you with any questions, if you don't and we don't understand it, well it probably won't happen
- Submitting your idea on here does not guarantee it will happen, fast or indeed at all. Some things can't be done due to laws on road design etc.
- If it's a complaint about road surface, potholes or other faults, don't fill it in here, use the pothole tool to take action
- If you want to "fast track" your idea why not get more involved in ACF!
